The growth trajectory of Modular Data Centers is featured on the cover of EXAME. In an article published on August 29, the magazine highlights the company’s growth in just over five years and the next steps for an operation responding to the growing demand for data center infrastructure.

In 2025, Modular achieved R579millioninnetoperatingrevenue,representing60.90%growthover12months.Thisperformanceplacedthecompanyin8thpositionintheR300 million to R$600 million revenue category of the EXAME Negócios em Expansão 2026 ranking.

Titled “She Built a Company from Scratch and, Five Years Later, Is Aiming for the First R1Billion,”thearticlealsopresentsModular’splansfor2026.ThecompanycouldreachR1 billion in sales if one of the projects currently under negotiation is finalized.

An Operation That Has Gained Scale

The evolution of the company’s production infrastructure helps illustrate this growth. Operations began in an approximately 2,300-square-meter facility in Mococa, moved to a roughly 8,000-square-meter facility in Cotia, and eventually expanded to the company’s current facility in Santana de Parnaíba, which has approximately 40,000 square meters of production space and around 1,000 employees.

The scale of the projects has also increased. Today, Modular develops everything from compact units to projects consisting of 3 MW or 5 MW blocks that, combined, can exceed 100 MW.

Industrialized Construction and New Projects

EXAME also highlights Modular’s industrialized construction model, in which part of the data center infrastructure is manufactured, integrated, and tested in a factory environment. This approach allows production stages to progress in parallel with preparation of the installation site.

This model supports a market experiencing growing demand for computing capacity, driven by cloud services and artificial intelligence applications.

The article also discusses the company’s upcoming projects. According to EXAME, Modular currently has two large-scale projects under development, both with capacity exceeding 100 MW. The publication also highlights the company’s presence in other Latin American markets, with operations or deliveries in Chile, Colombia, and Guatemala, as well as a new project under development in Paraguay.

The EXAME cover marks an important moment in Modular’s trajectory and points to the path toward a new phase of expansion.
